Charlotte and I woke up at about four in the morning to the sunrise and the wind changing. We both looked out the window and gasped. Out on the sky, there was this beautiful rainbow painted onto an equally beautiful archipelago background, all colored with redish morning sunrise.

Short recap: a few months ago Charlotte and I took a leap of faith and ordered a new Hanse 388 sailboat for us and the children. It really was a leap of faith since Charlotte had never sailed before. Now she has.
Charts and Postcards from Finland
A while back I wrote a new post in the Cruisers Forum (a discussion forum for people who like to talk about boats! a lot!) called Different Cultures of Sailing. Some of the replies where quite touching, but when people wanted to see some pictures of sailing here in Finland, I couldn’t find any. We don’t have a boat either (yet!), so here’s what I did instead.

There’s a lot of people actively sailing (or dreaming about it as we do!) and at the same time publishing blogs and YouTube videos about their adventures. Here’s my humble attempt to bring this community together, with the help of some computer wizardry and magic.
